Titanium Carbide
Catalog NO.: TFCBFC-0039 Category: Carbide
We offer TiC powders in nano, sub-micron, and micron sizes. Nano TiC has good electrical conductivity. Adding 0.01% nano TiC lowers ceramic sintering temperature by ~200°C, refines grains, and improves sintering. As a reinforcement phase, it enhances the mechanical and electrical properties of metal/ceramic matrices.

| Storage | This product should be stored in a sealed container within a cool, dry environment. It should not be exposed to the air for prolonged periods, as moisture absorption may lead to agglomeration, thereby compromising its dispersion properties and performance. Additionally, the product should be protected from heavy pressure and kept away from oxidizing agents. |
Aerospace Components: Used in high-performance aerospace parts.
Foam Ceramics: Higher strength, hardness, thermal/electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance than oxide foams.
Powder Metallurgy: Raw material for ceramics, cemented carbide parts (drawing dies, molds). TiC-based cemented carbides feature high hardness, excellent wear resistance, high temperature/oxidation resistance, and good thermal and chemical stability.
