The 1613 High Impact PDC cutter is specifically designed for complex formations with frequent interlayers and inconsistent rock hardness. Compared to standard cutters, it employs a non-planar interface (stress-reduction structure) to effectively dissipate instantaneous impact loads during drilling. The diamond table is specially toughened to exhibit extreme resilience when striking hard rock, preventing brittle chipping of the edge. It is the preferred material for high-performance PDC bits and hole openers.
