Zirconium-Aluminum Composite Spheres (≥ 4.2 g/cm3)
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-RMS-006 Category: Refractory Materials
Zirconium-Aluminum Composite Spheres are composite grinding media made from high-purity ultra-fine yttria-zirconia and alumina powders. The zirconia component adds toughness, resulting in higher strength and superior wear resistance compared to pure alumina balls. They have a smooth surface, good sphericity, and are suitable for grinding hard materials.

◈ High Strength & Toughness: High compressive strength and good toughness due to zirconia addition.
◈ Good Hardness: High Vickers hardness.
◈ Excellent Wear Resistance: Low wear rate.
◈ Good Sphericity & Surface: Good spherical shape and smooth surface.
◈ High Density: Density higher than alumina balls.
◈ Size Range: Available from 0.4 mm to 15 mm.
Grinding in metal and non-metallic ore processing (e.g., gold, silver, nickel, zinc, lead, calcium carbonate, zirconium silicate, titanium dioxide), as well as paints, coatings, pigments, and inks. Suitable for disc and pin-type sand mills.
