Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-128 Manufacturer PN: CHM-INH-AMP

Key Features

Compatible with most water-based drilling fluid systems; can be used in high-salinity drilling fluid systems; completely water-soluble, environmentally friendly, and low toxicity.

Applications

Enhances wellbore stability by inhibiting shale hydration and expansion, facilitating cuttings removal and lowering mud-out risks.

This shale inhibitor is a low-molecular-weight amphoteric polymer product designed to suppress active clays and sensitive shales in water-based drilling fluids. Suitable for freshwater, seawater, and high-salinity water-based systems, it exhibits temperature resistance up to 200°C. Its primary function is to significantly reduce mud system dilution rates, friction, suction pressure, and mud-balling risks through strong suppression. Suitable for low-solids content systems, systems without soil phase, or low-solids systems containing pre-hydrated bentonite.
