Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-048 Manufacturer PN: CHM-STH-CMS

Key Features

Temperature resistance up to 120°C; good water solubility, stable chemical properties, thickening, soluble in cold water, forming a transparent viscous solution, used as a thickener.

Applications

Effectively controls filtrate loss in freshwater or seawater muds with minimal viscosity increase. When used in seawater muds at low dosage, it can act as an anti-flocculant.

This carboxymethyl starch is an anionic starch ether product. Compared to pregelatinized starch, it exhibits higher water solubility and stronger chemical stability. It maintains long-term stable loss control even in high-salinity environments, with sustained temperature resistance up to 120°C. However, it has poor resistance to calcium and magnesium ions. This product exhibits thickening properties, dissolves in cold water to form a transparent viscous solution, and functions as a thickener and stabilizer. It is suitable for most water-based drilling fluid systems, particularly saturated brine drilling fluids and low-solids drilling fluids.
