It is typically employed in unconventional formations such as tight oil and tight gas reservoirs. It exhibits broad contamination tolerance, withstanding interference from cementing, cuttings, and water ingress. Activation requires lime. Compared to separate primary and secondary emulsifier formulations, this product offers reduced dosage and lower cost.
