Distributed Temp Sensor (Fiber)

The Distributed Temperature Sensor (DTS) utilizes the Raman scattering effect within an optical fiber to turn the entire fiber into thousands of high-precision temperature points. The system provides a real-time, continuous temperature profile along kilometers of wellbore with spatial resolution down to 1 meter. With an all-fiber structure, the front-end requires no power, offering intrinsic safety and extreme EMI immunity. It monitors heat injection, water ingress points, and completion quality in digitized oilfields.
