Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-127 Manufacturer PN: CHM-FLO-LAN

Key Features

Thermal stability up to 150°C; easy and quick mixing and dissolution; improves mud rheology by reducing bentonite and colloid content, lubricates the mud cake, and maintains drill cuttings integrity.

Applications

Flocculates active clays to reduce dispersion in sensitive shales; exhibits pronounced flocculation when low calcium ions are present, aiding cuttings removal.

This shale stabilizer is a macromolecular emulsion-type organic polymer product used in water-based drilling fluids to flocculate active clays and reduce sensitive shale dispersion. It is suitable for freshwater, seawater, and monovalent saltwater systems, with temperature resistance up to 150°C. This product functions by attracting colloidal particles to form an agglomeration effect, transforming small-particle colloids into larger flocs that can be rapidly removed via surface solids control equipment. It is primarily used in polymer water-based systems with pH below 10.
