The Hassler-type core holder is fundamental for studying rock pore permeability. Its design allows independent axial and radial confining pressures (up to 5,000 psi) on a 1.5-inch diameter core, simulating real downhole environments. The internal sleeve is made of Viton, ensuring chemical compatibility with various experimental fluids (oil, water, gas).
