Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-175 Manufacturer PN: CHM-PWD-HEM

Key Features

It increases mechanical drilling speed, requires less quantity than barite, and has lower overall costs. It has high hardness and is more wear-resistant; its solubility in 15% hydrochloric acid reaches 97%; it can be used as an auxiliary desulfurizing agent and applied in fluids with pH values in the low to medium range.

Applications

Increases drilling fluid density up to 3.0SG for preparing high-density kill muds.

High-quality weighting material is an Fe₂O₃ (commonly known as iron ore powder) weighting agent produced through a specialized grinding process, featuring a specific gravity exceeding 5.0. This product can increase the density of water-based or oil-based drilling fluids to a maximum of 3.0 sg. Due to its high specific gravity, compared to barite weighting, it requires lower solid phase content in the mud, resulting in faster mechanical drilling rates. Processed through specialized grinding techniques, impurities are removed during purification to achieve a particle size distribution meeting practical requirements.
