High-Performance Polyamine Inhibitor
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-136 Manufacturer PN: CHM-INH-PAM
• Temperature resistance up to 120°C, temperature resistance can be improved to some extent by adding oxygen scavengers; Especially suitable for potassium chloride polymer systems and environmentally friendly products, applicable to both onshore and offshore drilling; can be directly added to the mud system without affecting rheological and filtration properties.
Deliver superior shale suppression capability, maintain cuttings integrity, reduce solid accumulation, lower mud-out risk Flocculate all dispersed clay or colloidal particles for rapid removal via solids control equipment, reduce system dilution rate.
This shale inhibitor is a liquid-phase product containing a low-molecular-weight polymer complex. Its primary components are polyvinylpyrrolidone and polyamine derivatives, providing superior active clay inhibition and reducing expansion rates in sensitive shales within high-performance water-based drilling fluids. It serves as the core inhibitor in such systems. Its mechanism of action involves the active components permeating into the interstitial and lattice spaces between clay particles, preventing hydration reactions between active water and clay to inhibit clay swelling. This product also flocculates all dispersed clay or colloidal particles, enabling their rapid removal through solids control equipment to maintain excellent shear thinning properties in the mud system. Suitable for freshwater, seawater, and monovalent brine systems, it exhibits temperature resistance up to 120°C.
