High-Performance Soil-Free Primary Emulsifiers
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-035 Manufacturer PN: CHM-EMU-HP1
• Highly concentrated product, requires small dosage; thermal stability above 200°C; strong compatibility, can be used in diesel, white oil, and synthetic base systems.
Forms stable oil-in-water emulsions using calcium chloride or calcium bromide brine, improves particle dispersion in high-density drilling fluids, enhances oil wetting capacity, increases particle dispersion stability, and prevents sedimentation.
This emulsifier serves as the primary emulsifier in a new generation of high-performance, soil-free oil-based drilling fluid systems. It also functions as a high-temperature emulsifier, exhibiting temperature resistance exceeding 200°C. When synergized with a secondary emulsifier, it delivers excellent oil-in-water emulsion stability, effectively controlling high-temperature, high-pressure fluid loss while ensuring thermal stability of the system. Activation requires the addition of slaked lime to initiate a saponification reaction.
| Type | Emulsifiers & Wetting Agents |
| Recommended Dosage | Usually, the addition amount is 12-35 kg/m³. The recommended ratio of main emulsifier to co-emulsifier is 3:1 to 2:1, but the optimal ratio needs to be confirmed through field experiments. Calcium hydroxide needs to be added during use, and the ratio of calcium hydroxide to the main emulsion is 0.5:1. |
