The hook load sensor measures drilling depth. Pressure medium acts directly on the stainless steel diaphragm, where a “micron-level” resistive film is molecularly bonded. Microelectronic processes form a Wheatstone bridge, creating an all-metal sensing element. With no adhesives or moving parts, it requires no sealed or oil-filled chambers—pressure medium acts directly on the stainless steel diaphragm.
