Liquid ammonium sulfite deoxidizers are used for corrosion inhibition or enhancing thermal stability in water-based drilling fluids. Applications include suppressing oxidative corrosion of downhole tubing strings and mitigating thermal degradation of organic materials in wellbore environments. Note that this product is sensitive to calcium ion concentration, which should be maintained below 2000 ppm. Ammonia gas may be released when system pH exceeds 10.
