The unsticking fluid is formulated to rapidly form an inverted emulsion through oil-water mixing, wetting and lubricating the drill string to reduce adhesion and release stuck pipes. Its fundamental mechanism involves dehydrating and fracturing the mud cake, allowing the fluid to permeate the space between the drill string and formation. Formulation is simple and rapid, requiring no additional mixing equipment. Typically, the density of the fluid should be increased to 0.03-0.05 higher than the circulating mud density.
