This thickener is an emulsion-type xanthan gum suitable for freshwater, seawater, and monovalent saltwater systems. Compared to powdered xanthan gum, liquid xanthan gum offers significantly better dispersibility and shear behavior. This product exhibits excellent suspension stability and shear thinning properties, with a temperature tolerance up to 120°C. A biocide must be added during use to prevent fermentation. When the mud pH exceeds 10, the product reacts with dissolved calcium ions to form precipitates; however, its salt tolerance generally meets requirements.
