Long-Term Temperature Resistant Organic Clay
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-163 Manufacturer PN: CHM-CLY-ORGL
• The product has thermal stability exceeding 230°C, and its effect is most significant in synthetic-based mud systems; it does not experience a decrease in viscosity with increasing temperature, thus preventing barite settling and ensuring good sand carrying capacity of the mud; good shear thinning properties, improved drilling speed, good compatibility, strong anti-pollution ability, and resistance to salt, lime, cement, and drill cuttings contamination.
Ensures excellent rheological properties and shear-thinning capability of oil-based drilling fluid systems under ultra-high temperature conditions. Suspends barite and cuttings, withstands prolonged aging tests. Enhances mud carrying capacity and improves wellbore cleanliness.
This thickener is engineered for reverse emulsion systems under extreme temperatures, manufactured through specialized chemical processes. It withstands aging tests at 230°C for up to 600 hours. Moreover, it maintains essentially constant rheological properties and flow patterns with increasing temperature, exhibiting negligible barite settling. This ensures excellent sand-carrying capacity and wellbore cleanliness. The product achieves a perfect balance between dispersion stability and key performance requirements including viscosity, shear resistance, contamination resistance, and aging resistance. It becomes effective only in the presence of excess lime.
