Mica Flake Plugging Agent-Coarse

Mica flakes are natural minerals processed through cutting techniques, designated as medium grade for well leakage sealing. This flake-shaped sealing material embeds into formations to enhance the retention capacity of sealing slurries, preventing repeated leakage while offering strong pressure resistance. Its key characteristics include excellent elasticity, toughness, high-temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and strong adhesion, making it an outstanding yet economical sealing solution. It can be used directly or blended with other plugging materials. As a flake-type plugging agent, it is commonly employed for sealing severe fracture-type or fissure-cavity-type losses, used in preparing composite plugging slurries and bridging slurries.
