Mica Flake Plugging Agent-Fine

Mica flakes are natural minerals processed through cutting techniques, designated as medium grade, for use in drilling plugging operations. This flake-shaped plugging material embeds into formations to enhance slurry retention, prevent recurrent losses, and provide strong pressure resistance. Its key features include excellent elasticity, toughness, high-temperature resistance, acid/alkali resistance, and strong adhesion, making it an effective and economical plugging solution. It can be used directly or blended with other plugging materials. As a flake-type plugging agent, it is commonly used for sealing severe crack-type or fissure-cavity-type losses, and for preparing composite plugging slurries and bridging slurries.
