Natural Gamma Probe
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-LAB-SEN-027 Manufacturer PN: LAB-NG-PRB
• Precise measurement across full temperature range, triple vibration damping design
Measures natural gamma rays emitted by isotopes of uranium, thorium, and potassium in underground rock formations. Suitable for directional and horizontal well operations.
The natural gamma logging tool is a tubular natural gamma logging-while-drilling instrument. Its sensor section comprises electronic components and a detector, which consists of a sodium iodide scintillator crystal and a photomultiplier tube. It precisely measures natural gamma rays emitted by uranium, thorium, and potassium isotopes within underground rock formations. Suitable for directional and horizontal well operations, it provides geological engineers with data for planning wellbore trajectories and real-time geological steering, effectively enhancing encounter rates.
