This product is a specialized oil-loving, water-repellent flocculent fiber plugging material suitable for losses in porous or fractured permeable formations. It provides effective bridging and plugging capabilities and is compatible with both water-based and oil-based drilling fluid systems. It is compatible with all types of loss control muds and represents a new generation of fiber technology. Compared to traditional plugging materials like wood fibers, single-seal agents, and calcium carbonate, it overcomes their limitations in bridging and retention. It enhances bridging capability, embeds more readily into formation fractures, and achieves higher compaction strength. It is particularly suitable for leak control and drill-while-plugging operations.
