Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-169 Manufacturer PN: CHM-SUS-OIL

Key Features

Maintains the suspension capacity of the system below 90°C, preventing barite sedimentation; easily and uniformly dispersed in the mud, requiring no additional shearing or heating; can be added in advance or afterwards, and remains pourable at -27°C; contains no inorganic particles, the main component is a low molecular weight polymer, harmless to the producing formation.

Applications

When oil-based muds require extended storage without agitation, this product prevents bottom sludge formation and oil phase separation. When added during long-distance transport of oil-based muds, it inhibits barite and solid particle settling while improving rheological properties at low viscosities.

This liquid suspending agent is an oil-soluble modified urea solution primarily designed to enhance the suspension capacity and sedimentation stability of oil-based drilling fluid systems. Featuring a unique colloidal structure, it effectively suspends barite and other solid particles for extended periods without significantly increasing the fluid's viscosity. This allows the drilling fluid to maintain low viscosity while preventing sedimentation. Its optimal application scenarios include prolonged storage without agitator operation after new mud preparation at the mud plant, or during long-distance transportation between the field and mud plant. Upon addition, it significantly enhances mud suspension capacity, preventing tank bottom slackening and oil phase separation.
