Oxidized Bitumen-Temperature Resistance 180°C
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-063 Manufacturer PN: CHM-BIT-180
• Suitable for drilling conditions with bottom hole temperatures greater than 180°C; especially suitable for wellbore strengthening in fractured zones and reducing erosion of sandstone interlayers; helps form a strong sealing mud cake; non-fluorescent product.
Effectively reduces medium-pressure and high-temperature/high-pressure loss in oil-based muds, strengthens wellbore integrity, provides excellent collapse prevention, and maintains emulsion stability and thermal stability.
This natural bitumen serves as a loss control agent for high-temperature, high-pressure oil-based or synthetic drilling fluid systems, exhibiting temperature resistance exceeding 180°C. It can be extruded into microfractures within formations to form plugs, utilizing a sealing mechanism to stabilize shale and prevent collapse. At low temperatures, partial dissolution may enhance viscosity. During field use, monitor residue on the vibrating screen during the first few circulation cycles to prevent product wastage.
