Oxidized Bitumen-Temperature Resistance 200°C
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-064 Manufacturer PN: CHM-BIT-200
• Suitable for drilling conditions with bottom hole temperatures above 200°C; especially suitable for wellbore strengthening in fractured zones and reducing erosion of sandstone interlayers; helps form a strong sealing mud cake; non-fluorescent product.
Effectively reduces medium-pressure and high-temperature/high-pressure loss in oil-based muds, strengthens wellbore integrity, provides excellent collapse prevention, and maintains emulsion stability and thermal stability.
This natural bitumen serves as a loss control agent for high-temperature, high-pressure oil-based or synthetic drilling fluid systems, with a temperature resistance exceeding 200°C. It can be extruded into microfractures within the formation to form plugs, utilizing a sealing mechanism to stabilize shale and prevent collapse. At low temperatures, partial dissolution of the product may enhance viscosity. During field application, monitor residue on the vibrating screen during the initial few circulation cycles to prevent product wastage.
