Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-LAB-SEN-043 Manufacturer PN: LAB-PAR-SEN

Key Features

Specifically designed for underwater measurement; rugged and corrosion-resistant for both fresh and saltwater; suitable for submerged or surface-mounted applications

Applications

Used for measuring photosynthetically active radiation/measuring underwater photosynthetic quantum flux density (PPFD) in submerged environments.

The point-type underwater photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) sensor primarily measures PAR in aquatic environments. The measured signal represents the sum of PAR from all angles within a hemispherical field of view. It operates in air (requiring sensor dryness) or underwater at depths up to 560 meters. The sensor is cosine-corrected, delivering results in photosynthetic quantum flux density (PPFD).
