Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC-LV)

Low-Viscosity Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC-LV) is an outstanding fluid-loss additive for water-based drilling fluids. It forms a thin, tough, low-permeability filter cake on the borehole wall, significantly reducing water loss into the formation, thereby protecting oil zones and preventing borehole collapse. As a low-viscosity version, it controls fluid loss without causing excessive viscosity increases, making it ideal for high-solid or high-viscosity mud systems. Its thermal stability and salt resistance ensure consistent performance in deep wells.
