| Principle | This scanning sonar transmits a narrow beam of acoustic energy via a transducer and then listens for echoes. The transducer is mounted on the P360's rotating motor, which rotates in 1° increments. The P360 generates a circular image of the sonar's surroundings with a maximum range of 50 meters. Its imaging results resemble effects seen in weather radar from news reports or lidar on autonomous robots. |
