Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose-Low Viscosity
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-045 Manufacturer PN: CHM-CMC-LV
• Temperature resistance up to 120°C; wide range of applications, an economical product among polymer-based fluid loss reducers; concentrated product, only a small amount is needed to be effective.
Effectively controls fluid loss in freshwater or seawater drilling muds with minimal increase in viscosity; when used in seawater muds at lower dosages, it can act as a deflocculant.
This loss control agent is an industrial-grade, low-viscosity sodium carboxymethyl cellulose product suitable for most water-based drilling fluid systems, including freshwater and seawater muds, with temperature resistance up to 120°C. However, it should not be used in brine or mud systems with salinity exceeding 50,000 ppm. This product is suitable for high-viscosity, high-solids systems or when mud weighting is required, with minimal impact on viscosity. To prevent fermentation caused by bacterial degradation, it is typically used in conjunction with a biocide to ensure sustained effectiveness.
