Soil-Free Wetting Agents
Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-040 Manufacturer PN: CHM-WET-SOF
• Thermal stability above 200°C; improves the pumpability of high-density mud; when oil-based mud is contaminated by water intrusion, adding a wetting agent can reduce the viscosity of the system.
A one-barrel multifunctional emulsifier product that utilizes calcium chloride or calcium bromide brine to form a stable oil-in-water emulsion. It wets solid particles to maintain the system's excellent rheological properties.
This wetting agent is a high-quality oil wetting product for oil-based drilling fluid operations, most commonly used for weighting down and treating water-flooded conditions, as well as reducing shear viscosity throughout the system. Its specialized application involves wetting clay solids in gas hydrate or combustible ice formations within water-based drilling fluids, delaying the diffusion and decomposition of gas hydrates or combustible ice.
