• It is a high-purity transparent biopolymer; compared to other viscosifiers, it has lower viscosity values at low shear rates, and correspondingly lower standpipe pressure, pressure loss, equivalent circulating density, and surge pressure values; this product dissolves in water to form a transparent solution, leaving no residue after well cleaning, thus providing excellent reservoir protection and being environmentally friendly and low-toxicity.
Suitable for reservoir-specific drilling, gravel packing, sand washing, and well control operations.
This thickener is a premium transparent xanthan gum specifically designed for reservoir sections. It delivers excellent suspension capability, ensures wellbore cleanliness, improves flow patterns, reduces friction loss, and minimizes filtrate erosion. It effectively enhances drilling efficiency, reduces reservoir damage, and lowers project costs. The product withstands temperatures up to 120°C and requires the addition of a biocide during use to prevent fermentation. When the mud pH exceeds 10, this product reacts with dissolved calcium ions to form precipitates; however, its salt tolerance generally meets operational requirements.
