This product is an environmentally friendly white powder that fully replaces the function of sulfonated asphalt, commonly known as “white asphalt.” It is synthesized and processed from high-grade fatty alcohol resins through water solubilization, enabling partial dissolution in water while and partially soluble in oil. It emulsifies with water and clay, forming resilient particles at various temperatures to seal microfractures and pores in permeable formations. This reduces fluid loss, prevents formation collapse, and protects hydrocarbon reservoirs, matching the performance of sulfonated asphalt while offering superior mud cake improvement, sealing, and collapse prevention. Compared to asphalt, it exhibits minimal fluorescence, avoiding interference with geological logging, making it particularly suitable for exploration wells.
