Catalog NO.: AIMRSE-CHM-ADD-120 Manufacturer PN: CHM-ZNC-BRM

Key Features

It expands the brine density range to 1.82-2.30 SG.

Applications

Formulate mixed brine containing calcium chloride, calcium bromide, and zinc bromide to increase brine density. The density of mixed brine containing calcium chloride, calcium bromide, and zinc bromide can reach up to 2.30 SG.

Zinc bromide, chemical formula ZnBr₂, is a powdered inorganic salt product that is highly soluble in water, with a solubility of 447 g/100 mL at 20°C. In solution, zinc bromide typically dissolves in water to form a transparent, colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is used to prepare mixed brines of calcium chloride, calcium bromide, and zinc bromide to increase brine density, particularly for required density ranges of 1.82-2.30 SG in completion and workover fluid operations.
