General-Purpose RF Power Transistor for Broadband Industrial Use
Brand: AIMRSE
This is a high-performance, wide-bandwidth, multi-channel transceiver integrating two RF-sampling transmit chains and two RF-sampling receive chains. The device operates at frequencies up to 7.4 GHz, supporting direct RF sampling across the HF, VHF, UHF, L-, S-, and C-band frequency ranges without requiring additional frequency conversion stages. Enhanced density and flexibility enable support for high-channel-count, multi-mission systems.
The TX signal path supports interpolation and digital upconversion options, providing up to 400 MHz of signal bandwidth. The DUC output drives a 12 GSPS DAC (digital-to-analog converter), with a hybrid-mode output option enhancing operation in the second Nyquist zone. The DAC output includes a variable gain amplifier (TX DSA) with a 40 dB range, 1 dB analog steps, and 0.125 dB digital steps.
Each receiver chain includes a digital step attenuator (DSA) with a 25 dB range, followed by a 3 GSPS ADC (analog-to-digital converter). Each receiver channel features an analog peak power detector and various digital power detectors to assist external or internal autonomous automatic gain controllers, as well as an RF overload detector to provide device reliability protection. Flexible decimation options enable optimized data bandwidth of up to 400 MHz for two RX channels.
The device includes a SYSREF timing detector to optimize the timing of the SYSREF input relative to the device clock.
