High-Efficiency GaN Transistor for Wireless Infrastructure PAs
Brand: AIMRSE
This is a high-performance, high-bandwidth, multi-channel transceiver integrating eight RF-sampling transmitter chains, eight RF-sampling receiver chains, and two independent RF front ends dedicated to auxiliary chains (feedback paths). The high dynamic range of the transmitter and receiver chains supports the generation and reception of 3G, 4G, and 5G signals from wireless base stations, while its high bandwidth capability makes the device well-suited for multi-band 4G and 5G base station applications.
Each receiver chain includes a digital step attenuator (DSA) with a 31 dB range, followed by a 3 GSPS ADC (analog-to-digital converter). Each receiver channel features multiple analog peak power detectors and digital peak/power detectors to support external or internal autonomous automatic gain control, along with an RF overload detector to enhance device reliability protection. Single-channel or dual-channel digital downconverters (DDCs) provide up to 600 MHz of combined signal bandwidth. In TDD mode, receiver channels can be dynamically reconfigured between traffic receivers (TDD RX) and wideband feedback receivers (TDD FB), enabling reuse of the same analog input for both functions.
The feedback paths include a 3 GSPS RF-sampling ADC driven by a DSA, followed by a DDC that supports up to 800 MHz of combined bandwidth—or up to 1200 MHz in 4-channel mode.
