Description

This is a high-performance, multi-channel transceiver integrating four direct upconversion transmitter chains, four direct downconversion receiver chains, and two wideband RF-sampling digital auxiliary chains (feedback paths). The high dynamic range of the transmitter and receiver chains enables wireless base stations to generate and receive 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G signals.

The AFE7769’s low power dissipation and high-density channel integration overcome the power and form-factor constraints of 4G and 5G massive MIMO base stations. The wideband, high-dynamic-range feedback paths support digital predistortion (DPD) for power amplifiers in the transmitter chain, enhancing linearity and efficiency. High-speed serializers/deserializers (SerDes) reduce the number of lanes required for data input and output, simplifying board layout and improving system scalability.
