Industrial AMR Chassis & UGV Platforms

The Kinetic Foundation of Automation: At AIMRSE, we focus on robust, industrial-grade fundamentals: designing and building rugged Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) platforms for logistics, inspection, and R&D applications. We have evolved far beyond basic remote-controlled chassis. Our fully integrated Drive-by-Wire systems deliver industrial-grade closed-loop motion control and high-precision wheel odometry, ensuring stable and accurate positioning in real-world environments. Whether operating in narrow warehouse aisles or challenging unstructured outdoor terrain, our platforms provide the mechanical reliability and performance your project demands. We take care of the heavy lifting in hardware design and integration, so you can concentrate on what matters most: developing and optimizing your SLAM, navigation, and autonomy algorithms.

Kinematics & Drive Architectures

Picking the right mobile base isn’t just about checking boxes—it’s about striking the right balance between payload capacity, how nimble it is, and what kind of terrain it can actually handle. At AIMRSE, we’ve got three distinct kinematic architectures, and each one’s tuned specifically for different operational needs—no one-size-fits-all here. Our embedded Motion Control Units (MCU) take care of all the lower-level differential equations behind the scenes, and then they give your onboard computer a clean, straightforward linear/angular velocity API (geometry_msgs/Twist) over UART or CAN. It’s the heavy lifting we handle so you don’t have to.

Zero-Turn Radius

Every single one of our differential and tracked platforms is capable of in-place rotation—what we refer to as Skid-Steer—and this capability is a genuine game-changer for real-world operations. There’s no need to wrestle with complex path planning just to navigate tight corridors or align with docking stations. It’s a straightforward, high-performance solution that’s perfectly suited to those confined working spaces.

Active Suspension

When it comes to our outdoor UGV models, we go with independent Christie or Swing-Arm suspension setups—and here’s why that matters. No matter how bumpy or uneven the terrain gets, all the drive wheels stay firmly on the ground. That means you don’t have to deal with lost traction, and crucially, no odometry drift either. It’s the kind of rugged design that makes outdoor operation actually reliable.

Direct Drive Technology

Here’s what makes our direct drive tech stand out—we build brushless DC hub motors right into the wheels themselves. No more transmission belts or gears cluttering things up, and that’s a big win for you. Less maintenance to worry about, way less noise when the robot’s moving, and zero mechanical backlash. On top of all that, you get instant torque response—no lag, no waiting for the power to kick in.

Robot Core Portfolio

AIMRSE D-Series Industrial Differential AMR Base High-speed differential drive for logistics. Max Speed: 3.0 m/s.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR150KG LOADIP54

D-Series: Universal Differential

This is the industry’s real workhorse. It’s fitted with large pneumatic tires and high-torque motors—perfect for asphalt and concrete surfaces. For last-mile delivery or security patrol bots, this is the go-to platform.

M-Series: Omnidirectional

The M-Series comes fitted with industrial-grade Mecanum wheels—and here’s what that really means: it can move sideways or diagonally, no need to spin the whole platform first. This makes it a perfect fit for tight, constrained spaces like hospital wards or cleanrooms where maneuverability is key.

ALL-TERRAINHEAVY DUTYIP67

T-Series: Tracked UGV

The T-Series is built for the real, unstructured world—not the controlled lab environment—and that’s intentional. It uses heavy-duty reinforced rubber tracks, so it can handle tough terrain like mud, sand, even stairs, with no issue. When it comes to agricultural robotics or fire-fighting bots, this is the platform most teams reach for first.

Developer-First Open Architecture

? Building a custom Cobot or autonomous delivery unit?

We don't lock you out. AIMRSE platforms feature a dedicated Upper-Computer Interface Panel including 24V/12V/5V DC power rails, Dual-CAN Bus ports, and Ethernet (RJ45) for LiDAR/Camera data streams. We support native ROS Noetic & ROS 2 Humble packages and provide a C++ SDK for direct serial control.

The AIMRSE Robotics Advantage

Modular Expansion

Our aluminum extrusion profile rails (2020 or 4040 T-Slot) allow for rapid mounting of robotic arms, sensor masts, and secure cargo lockers without drilling.

Smart BMS Protection

Integrated Battery Management Systems monitor individual LiFePO4 cell voltages, providing over-current protection and real-time state-of-charge (SoC) data to the host PC.

Industrial Durability

Certified 2,000-hour MTBF. We use aerospace-grade aluminum chassis and water-resistant aviation connectors to ensure operation in dusty factories (IP54) or wet outdoors (IP67).

Technical FAQ

Do your platforms support NVIDIA Jetson integration?
Yes. The power distribution board provides a regulated 12V@10A output specifically designed to power compute modules like the NVIDIA Jetson Orin/Xavier or Intel NUC. The CAN-to-USB adapter allows for plug-and-play communication.
What failsafe mechanisms are in place?
Safety is paramount. The low-level MCU features a configurable "Heartbeat" watchdog. If velocity commands are interrupted for more than 500ms (customizable), the chassis automatically brakes and enters a safe stop state.
Can the T-Series track robot climb stairs?
The T-Series is capable of climbing standard industrial stairs with a pitch up to 30-35 degrees. The tracks feature aggressive grousers for grip. For steep staircases, we recommend the optional "Flipper" add-on to extend the wheelbase.
Are the batteries swappable?
Yes. All our industrial platforms feature a Quick-Swap battery bay. A fully depleted battery can be exchanged for a fresh one in under 30 seconds, enabling near-continuous 24/7 operation in warehouse environments.
