Engineered for Extreme Pressure & Heavy Loads

AIMRSE high-pressure hydraulic cylinders are designed and manufactured to deliver reliable linear force in the most demanding industrial and mobile applications. From standard mill-type configurations to custom rotary actuators and high-response servo cylinders, our portfolio supports operating pressures up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with bore sizes ranging from 25 mm to 500 mm.

Every cylinder undergoes rigorous testing for leakage, proof pressure, and stroke verification. We offer a wide range of mounting styles, rod surface treatments, and seal material upgrades to match your specific operating environment—whether it's abrasive mining slurry, subsea saltwater exposure, or high-temperature steel mill conditions.

Energy Sector Hydraulic Cylinders

Energy & General Technology

Wind turbine pitch cylinders and gas turbine actuator cylinders featuring corrosion-resistant rods and extended service intervals.

Marine and Offshore Cylinders

Marine & Offshore

Deck machinery cylinders, hatch cover cylinders, and subsea valve actuators with special coatings for saltwater immersion.

Metallurgy Hydraulic Cylinders

Metallurgy & Metal Forming

Rolling mill AGC cylinders, press cylinders, and shear actuators for high-temperature and high-force metal processing.

Rubber and Cement Industry Cylinders

Rubber, Injection Molding & Cement

Clamping cylinders, injection cylinders, and kiln thrust rollers with contamination-resistant wipers and long-stroke capability.

Performance Validation & Customer Trust

We integrated AIMRSE's heavy-duty welded cylinders into our mining shovel upgrade program. Over 8,000 operating hours later, rod seal leakage remains zero, and chrome plating shows minimal wear despite abrasive overburden conditions. The engineering support during the custom mounting design phase was exceptional.

Our injection molding machines require precise clamp force repeatability. Switching to AIMRSE servo cylinders with low-friction seals improved our position holding accuracy by 18% and reduced energy consumption due to lower internal leakage. The cylinders arrived pre-tested with full documentation, simplifying our ISO audit.

Advanced Manufacturing & Material Science

Every AIMRSE cylinder is built with precision-machined components and rigorously tested materials to ensure long service life under extreme conditions.

  • Cylinder Barrel Technology
Precision honed and skived/roller burnished tubes from CK45 or ST52.3 steel. Surface finishes down to Ra 0.1 µm for optimal seal performance.
  • Piston Rod Surface Engineering
Induction hardened chrome plating (minimum 20 µm thickness) or nitrided surfaces for corrosion resistance. Available ceramic coating for offshore applications.
  • Sealing Systems
Premium polyurethane, PTFE, and Viton® seal packages. Buffer seal technology available for high side-load applications to extend rod seal life.
  • End-of-Stroke Cushioning
Adjustable or fixed cushion designs to absorb inertial energy and reduce noise and vibration at cycle ends.

Frequently Asked Cylinder Questions

What is the standard lead time for a custom high-pressure cylinder?
Standard configurations (common bore/stroke combinations) typically ship within 2–3 weeks. Custom-engineered cylinders with special materials or complex mounting interfaces may require 6–8 weeks including design approval and testing.
Can you provide cylinders with integrated position sensors?
Yes. Our servo cylinder series can be supplied with magnetostrictive linear position transducers (analog or digital output) or external LVDT mounting provisions. We also offer cylinders with reed switch grooves for end-of-stroke sensing.
What surface treatments are available for marine and offshore environments?
We offer ceramic-coated piston rods, stainless steel (17-4PH) rod options, and special paint systems (e.g., offshore NORSOK compliant). All external surfaces receive multi-layer corrosion protection.
Do you supply replacement seal kits for your cylinders?
Absolutely. We maintain an inventory of seal kits for all AIMRSE cylinder models. Kits include rod seals, piston seals, wipers, and static O-rings. Installation instructions are provided.
What testing documentation is provided with each cylinder?
Every cylinder ships with a Material Test Certificate (EN 10204 3.1) and a Pressure Test Certificate verifying zero leakage at 1.5x working pressure. Additional NDT reports (MPI, UT) available upon request.
